👋 Howdy, I'm Dejan - The PMM
Extreme curiosity and eagerness to please — these are the two things that made me a solid marketer.
I come from a full-stack digital marketing background with over 11 years of experience in content, demand gen, and lifecycle marketing in tech startups.
I've worked in sales, mapping out customer journeys and content, talking to customers, and delivering stellar content and email nurturing campaigns.
I've been learning growth strategies through data-driven experiments since 2014, lived in 3 different high-tech startups as a marketing manager/leader, and worked in my agency working with B2B mid-market companies (Including INC 5000 companies) with competitive enablement work.
Now, I'm looking to join a scale-up as a product marketing manager or demand gen.
I've been responsible for content for every company I've worked for.
My approach has always stemmed from one simple question — What does the user/customer need to know to take the next action?
All SEO, graphics, and optimizations are important but come secondary to providing a complete, accurate, and actionable answer to the end-user (the reader).

Problem - The sales team was having a hard time finding the right content and use case to send to a prospect who was interested in buying an expensive course (~ $5,000 USD).
Solution - An enablement library with quick access and dynamic search made in Notion that quickly filters and finds the right case study for the right prospect within seconds. The sales team was briefed on how to use it.
Result - Enabled sales team. Faster buying cycles.

Mapping out the strategy and execution of content marketing at a early stage AR/VR online education company which led to:
Revenue growth of 300% between years 2019. - 2023
Becoming the category leader in the AR/VR education space
A household brand name for AR/VR education
Partnerships with brands like Meta, HP, Unity, and others
Revenue record launches of campaigns suchs as Black Friday / Cyber Monday
During the 3 years with Circuit Stream I've:
Managed organized and executed more than 150 live webinars (averaging one per week)
More than 150 written and SEO optimized article pieces which landed the Company in top search fields just behind big brands like Unreal and Unity
Established organic channel as a constant inbound deliverable growth machine.
As a simulated Product Marketing Manager for Helcim, a local payment solutions company in Calgary, I developed a simplified GTM and Product Launch and Sales Enablement approach to differentiate the brand in the competitive market dominated by established players like Toast, Lightspeed, Clover, and Square.
The approach focuses on:
ICP: Customer Research, Identifying and Validating the right Persona
Positioning and Massaging Narrative Doc: Emphasized Helcim as "The non-greedy payment platform" with fast, human-centric support and scalable solutions.
Simple GTM Strategy: Key deliverables of this project included a GTM plan with specific KPIs, a sales pitch deck, objection handling guidelines, and a thought leadership strategy across various channels.
Product Launch: The launch was structured in phases, starting with an alpha rollout to determine product-market fit, followed by a beta phase to gather testimonials, and culminating in a full public launch. This strategic approach aimed to drive user adoption, upsell opportunities, and new revenue streams for Helcim.
Sales Enablement: Equipped the sales team with suggested first sales pitch deck format, with narrative doc on how and what talking points to use and main differentiating factors (USPs).

A digital Notion template co-created with an Internet friend Stefanos Karakasis - PMM at SkipTheDishes.
The document shows 40 most common sales objections in the B2B SaaS industry and introduces a framework on how to handle and respond to these objections together with an example talk track.
